Is there Space to park at Garden Stream Pottery?
Yes, there is a free car park in the village of Llanfachreth with plenty of space and within very easy walking distance (50 metres) from Garden Stream Pottery.
Are the courses suitable for those with mobility issues?
Unfortunately, Garden Stream Pottery is not suitable for wheelchairs, or those with severe mobility issues as the workshop area is down steps and a slope. However, we may be able to accommodate those with mild to moderate mobility issues, but it would be best to discuss your particular needs prior to booking on a course.
Are the courses suitable for children?
The 6-day courses are not designed for children and are for adults 18 plus, but there are courses that are suitable for children and these are specified in the course information. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Are the courses suitable for those with learning disabilities?
Some of the courses may be suitable for those with learning disabilities, provided they are supported by a carer, relative, or support worker. It would also be necessary to discuss this with us, to ensure that the course you wish to book for would be suitable.
Are the courses suitable for those with dementia?
Some of the courses may be suitable for those with dementia provided they were supported by a carer, relative, or support worker. It would also be necessary to discuss this with us, to ensure that the course you wish to book for would be suitable.
Are the courses suitable for those with other health issues?
Some or all of the courses would be suitable for those with other health issues. It would depend upon how your health issue is impacting you. If you are unsure as to whether the course would be suitable for you, please do not hesitate to contact us, so that we can ensure that the course you wish to book for would be suitable.
Are the courses suitable for those with dietary requirements?
The homecooked lunch on the 6-day courses will be vegetarian. If you are vegan or gluten free we can cook for you but we would be unable to provide food for those with nut allergies. If you have any other dietary requirements or food allergies, please contact us.
Can I attend the course if I have no experience of ceramics?
Yes, definitely. All courses are designed for all levels of experience, including complete beginners.
